The short version

• We only collect what we need to run Homeduly.
• We never sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
• You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.

What we collect and why

• Your email address, to create your account, sign you in, and send your maintenance reminders and account messages. We use it because it's needed to provide the service you signed up for.
• Details about your home (like its age, size, heating, water heater and features), to build your maintenance plan.
• Your maintenance records, such as jobs you mark done and any notes, costs, photos or receipts you add, to keep your home's history.
• Payment and billing details, collected and processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We don't see or store your full card number. Paddle shares limited details with us, like your plan and payment status.
• Basic technical information (like your browser type and pages visited), from our hosting provider's logs, to keep the service secure and working.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with companies that help us run Homeduly, and only as needed:

• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for payments, tax and billing support.
• Supabase, which hosts our database and sign-in system.
• Vercel, which hosts our website.
• Our email delivery provider, which sends sign-in links and reminders.
• Professional advisers like accountants or lawyers, when needed.
• Authorities, if the law requires it.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies that keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Paddle may use cookies during checkout as described in its own privacy notice.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you have an account. If you delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, tax or accounting reasons.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, and to object to how it's used. To make a request, email support@homeduly.com from your account's email address. We'll respond within 30 days.

Security

We protect your information with encrypted connections, access controls that keep each account's data private, and trusted service providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your data safe.

Children

Homeduly is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy in an important way, we'll let you know by email or on the site.
